President Erdoğan: We increased the salary increase for civil servants and retirees to 30 percent

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that they increased the raise for civil servants and retirees, which was announced as 25 percent on Tuesday, to 30 percent. Erdoğan also announced that they increased the lowest retirement salary from 3,500 TL to 5,500 TL. The salary raise for civil servants and retirees to be implemented for the first 6 months of 2023 has been increased to 30 percent. Speaking at a group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "We are giving the good news to our civil servants and all retirees that the salary increases for January 2023 will be applied as 30 percent." Within this framework, the lowest civil servant salary including family assistance allowance increased from 9,105 TL to 11,848 TL, and the lowest civil servant retirement salary increased from 6,078 TL to 7,901 TL.
