Russia’s leading e-commerce platform Ozon, which is preparing to open an office in Turkey, plans to provide its customers with access to a wide range of Turkish goods with the new office. In a statement made by Ozon Global, a subsidiary of Ozon, it was stated that the company will open a new office in Istanbul. Indicating that Ozon aims to provide customers with access to a wide range of Turkish goods with the new office in Turkey, the statement included the following: “The senior management is now forming a team in Istanbul consisting of experts who speak Turkish and are familiar with the characteristics of the local consumer sector and plans to start active work in the fall.” The statement said: “The new logistics service will reduce delivery time by almost 2 times. The delivery time without assembly will be between 6-8 days. Fast delivery will increase the attractiveness of Turkish goods for Russian buyers.” Ozon, one of Russia’s well-known e-commerce platforms, achieved a turnover of $6 billion last year.
