Death toll from earthquakes exceeds 36,000

AFAD announced that as of 09:00, 36,187 people lost their lives and 108,068 people were injured in the earthquakes. A total of 36,187 people lost their lives in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ, and 108,068 people were injured. Survivors of the debris, those affected by the earthquake and 216,347 disaster victims who applied to the hospital with earthquake-related injuries were evacuated from the region to other provinces.
