The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) reported that 45,089 people lost their lives in the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6. According to a statement from AFAD, 11,020 aftershocks occurred following the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş. 45,089 people lost their lives in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ. The number of people evacuated from the region and registered by applying to the governor's or district governor's offices in the provinces they went to by their own means has reached 1 million 971 thousand 589. A total of 6,368 search and rescue personnel are currently on duty in the region, consisting of AFAD, PAK, JAK, JÖAK, DİSAK, Coast Guard, DAK, Güven, fire, rescue, MEB, NGOs and international search and rescue personnel. In addition, there are a total of 234,636 people in the earthquake zones including AFAD, police, gendarmerie, MSB, UMKE, ambulance, local security, local support teams, volunteers and field personnel. A total of 18,040 vehicles including excavators, tow trucks, cranes, dozers, trucks, water trucks, trailers, graders, sewage trucks and similar construction machines are continuing their duties in the disaster zone. With the air bridge established for the transfer of personnel and materials to the region, 116 helicopters and 76 planes affiliated with the Air Force, Land Forces, Naval Forces, Coast Guard Command, Gendarmerie General Command, General Directorate of Security, Ministry of Health and General Directorate of Forestry have made 13,999 sorties to date. Meanwhile, a total of 38 ships have been assigned to the region by the Ministry of National Defense and the Coast Guard Command. Installation of 358,037 tents completed The installation of 358,037 tents sent by ministries, relevant institutions and organizations, different countries and international organizations to the regions heavily affected by the earthquake has been completed. While container cities were established in 11 provinces and 332 locations, container city establishments continue in 10 provinces and 162 locations. The number of people who were provided shelter services in tents, containers, GSB dormitories, hotels, public guesthouses, MEB facilities and other facilities in and outside the disaster zone reached 1 million 915 thousand 687. Within the scope of disaster psychosocial support activities, 4 mobile social service centers were assigned in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Osmaniye and Malatya. A total of 1 million 25 thousand 291 people were provided psychosocial support, 691 thousand 388 in the earthquake zone and 333 thousand 903 outside the earthquake zone.
