Customs duty on container housing imports reduced to zero

The customs duty and additional customs duty (IGV) for the import of portable houses (containers) will be applied as zero until July 31. The Presidential Decree regarding the amendment of the import regime decision was published in today’s Official Gazette. With the Decree, a footnote was added to the table regarding the import in question stating that the customs duty will be applied as zero for imports within this scope until July 31. With the Presidential Decree amending the decision regarding the additional customs duty on imports published in the same gazette, it was stipulated that the IGV will also be applied as zero for container imports for housing purposes.
