Treasury borrowed 37.7 billion TL with two bonds

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed a total of TL 11.45 billion in the auctions of 5-year fixed coupon and 10-year CPI-indexed bonds. In pre-auction sales, the Ministry sold TL 26.25 billion to market makers. The Treasury continued its March borrowing calendar with two bonds. In the TL-denominated fixed coupon government bond auction of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, net sales of TL 10.2 billion were made against a bid of TL 13.9 billion. The compound interest in the auction was 11.53 percent. Before the auction, the Treasury sold TL 25 billion to market makers against a bid of TL 35.1 billion. In the auction of the Ministry's 10-year CPI-indexed bonds, TL 2.69 billion were sold against a bid of TL 12.6 billion. The real compound interest in the auction was minus 4.54 percent. The Treasury sold 1.25 billion TL of 10-year CPI-indexed bonds to market makers in return for a bid of 10.3 billion TL. The ministry's 5-year and 10-year CPI-indexed bonds were not sold to the public.
