Russia's Rosneft's Germany unit appointed as trustee

The German government has appointed a trustee for the German unit of the Russian energy company Rosneft. It was decided to appoint a trustee for RN Refining & Marketing GmbH (RNRM) along with Rosneft Deutschland. The German government has added a new one to its savings regarding companies operating in the energy market. The German government has appointed the Federal Network Agency as a trustee for Rosneft Deutschland and RN Refining & Marketing GmbH (RNRM), the German units of the Russian energy company Rosneft. The agency has taken control of Rosneft Deutschland and has also acquired shares in the PCK Schwedt, MiRo (Karlsruhe) and Bayernoil (Vohburg) refineries. Rosneft Deutschland has a 12 percent share in Germany’s oil processing capacity. According to data from the German Ministry of Economy and Energy, the company stands out as one of the largest refining companies in the country.
