In the same period, DİBS became the investment instrument that caused the investor to lose the most by 43.27% when discounted with PPI and 33.59% when discounted with CPI. Based on the last one-year period as of May 2021, gold bullion took the first place with an 8.76% return. When discounted with CPI, while the dollar made its investor earn 8.31%; BIST 100 index made its investor lose 2.17%, Euro 5.60%, deposit interest (gross) 32.86% and DİBS 37.08%.
