South Korea keeps interest rates steady for second time

The Bank of Korea kept interest rates steady at 3.5 percent, in line with expectations. The Korean won strengthened slightly after moving to 1,319.68 against the U.S. dollar. The Fed is seen maintaining its hawkish stance, joining the likes of South Korea, Australia and India in pausing the tightening cycle amid global inflation.
