Çavuşoğlu discussed grain corridor with Russian counterpart

Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu discussed the grain corridor with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. Relevant Turkish ministers continue to be in contact with their Russian counterparts regarding the grain corridor. Following National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu also met with his Russian counterpart. Çavuşoğlu held a phone call with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. According to the information provided by the ministry, the grain corridor, recent developments in the Caucasus and the 3+3 regional cooperation platform meeting were discussed during the phone call between Çavuşoğlu and Lavrov. Çavuşoğlu also held a phone call with his Iranian and Panamanian counterparts. Bilateral and regional issues were discussed during the meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hüseyin Emir Abdullahiyan. Çavuşoğlu congratulated his new counterpart on his new position during a phone call with Panamanian Foreign Minister Janaina Tewaney Mencomo.
