President Erdoğan is going to Lithuania for the NATO Summit

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit the Republic of Lithuania in order to attend the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit to be held in Vilnius. According to a statement made by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, President Erdoğan will visit the Republic of Lithuania on July 10-12 in order to attend the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit to be held in the capital Vilnius. During the summit, there will be a strategic exchange of views on the war in Ukraine as well as challenges facing the NATO geography. The summit will discuss plans to strengthen the Alliance’s defense structure and deterrence against fundamental threats identified by NATO, especially terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts attending the summit on this occasion.
