Apple to unveil iPhone 15 series on September 12

Apple will introduce the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 9 and new hardware features at the Steve Jobs Theater as part of the event it will organize on September 12. Apple's first 3-nanometer chip, the Bionic A17, is expected to be in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. These chips are expected to be more energy efficient than current chips, which will provide significant gains in battery life. Apple has finally given a date for the highly anticipated iPhone 15 series. The series, which will be the successor to the iPhone 14, is coming very soon. According to Apple's announcement, the 'Wonderlust' event, where the iPhone 15 series and other products will be introduced, will be held on Tuesday, September 12 at 20:00 Turkey time. The event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater located on the Apple Park campus, where it was last year. The event in question will not only feature iPhone 15s, but other announcements will also be made. For example, the Apple Watch Series 9 smartwatches will be introduced at the event, and in addition, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 smartwatch model will also be introduced. Apple is expected to change the charging standard on the iPhone for the first time. Because the company, which is obliged to comply with EU rules, will switch to the Type-C charging standard with the iPhone 15 series. Apple's first 3-nanometer chip, the Bionic A17, is expected to be included in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Reports suggest that the number of transistors in the A16 Bionic, which is approximately 16 billion, could be between 18 billion and 24 billion in the A17 Bionic. TSMC claims that these chipsets will be 35 percent more energy efficient than the current generation chipsets, which could provide significant gains in battery life. In other words, we will encounter a more powerful chip in terms of both efficiency and performance. Considering all the new features that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will have and the cost of the upgraded 3-nanometer chip, the base prices of these devices are expected to increase.
