According to TurkStat data, in August 2023, it increased by 59.24 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while manufacturing increased by 1.94 percent monthly. TurkStat published the Foreign Producer Price Index data for August 2023. Accordingly, in August 2023, it increased by 1.95 percent compared to the previous month, 48.50 percent compared to December of the previous year, 59.24 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and 55.86 percent compared to twelve-month averages. Annual changes in two sectors of the industry were realized as 54.28 percent increase in mining and quarrying and 59.33 percent increase in manufacturing.
