Türkiye to export natural gas to Romania

Turkey will export up to 4 million cubic meters of natural gas per day to Romania An agreement has been reached between the two countries for the export of up to 4 million cubic meters of natural gas per day from Turkey to Romania. In a statement made by Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ), it was stated that they continue to progress with sure steps towards the goals determined in line with the vision of the Turkish Century. It was noted in the statement that BOTAŞ aims to become one of the top 10 exporters of Turkey in the next 3 years and the statements were used: "BOTAŞ has signed an important agreement with OMV Petrom, one of the major energy companies in the region. Within the scope of the agreement that allows for the supply of up to 4 million cubic meters of natural gas per day and will expire on March 31, 2025, natural gas exports from Turkey to Romania via pipelines will begin on October 1." The statement indicated that the parties agreed to develop cooperation in the fields of transmission, storage, production and green energy technologies in addition to natural gas trade, and said, "BOTAŞ, which has so far concluded important agreements on natural gas exports from regional countries to Greece, Bulgaria and Hungary via pipeline, is reinforcing its contribution to energy supply security and diversity in neighboring markets and Europe by adding Romania to the countries it supplies gas to. In this context, BOTAŞ continues its negotiations with many countries and companies for new export agreements." Turkey signed a natural gas export agreement with Hungary in August and with Bulgaria in January.
