Türk Eximbank announced that it has renewed its syndicated loan by more than 100 percent and provided resources totaling $658 million to support the Turkish export sector. Türk Eximbank has renewed its syndicated loan by more than 100 percent and provided resources totaling $658 million, consisting of €496.2 million, $79 million and 350 million Chinese yuan, in order to support the Turkish export sector. Coordinated by Emirates NBD Capital Limited, ICBC Turkey Bank A.Ş. and The Commercial Bank, and with ING Bank NV and Standard Chartered Bank as Sustainability Coordinators, Türk Eximbank’s one-year syndicated loan was realized in three currencies. According to the statement made by Türk Eximbank, 21 banks from Europe, the Far East and the Gulf regions participated in the transaction. Türk Eximbank General Manager Ali Güney, who made statements regarding the syndication transaction successfully completed by the bank, emphasized that they have taken their sustainability efforts even further by adding sustainability performance criteria to the transaction. Ali Güney continued his words as follows: “We are proud to renew our fourth syndication transaction by over 100% by adding sustainability performance criteria, including the goal of increasing our credit support to facilitate access to financing for women entrepreneurs and companies supporting women’s employment in earthquake-affected regions and providing resources to SMEs that conduct green production based on sustainability principles. With this transaction, we have provided a total of 4 billion dollars in international resources since the beginning of the year.”
