Competition Authority launches investigation into Ferrero

The Competition Authority found the findings that Ferrero and its subsidiaries violated the Law on the Protection of Competition in the hazelnut market at the stages of production, purchase, crushing and export to be serious and sufficient and decided to launch an investigation. In the statement made by the Competition Authority, it was stated that the preliminary investigation conducted regarding the claim that Ferrero International SA and its subsidiaries violated the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition with their actions at all levels from production to purchase, crushing and export in the hazelnut market was concluded by the Competition Board. Accordingly, the Competition Board, which discussed the information, documents and findings obtained in the preliminary investigation at its meeting dated 03.11.2022, found the findings serious and sufficient and decided to launch an investigation into Ferrero Hazelnut Import Export and Trade Inc. with the number 22-50/734-M.
