Nvidia's revenue beats estimates

California-based chipmaker Nvidia achieved revenue above expectations in the last quarter of 2023, driven by strong demand for artificial intelligence chips. The company's revenues reached $ 22.1 billion in this period, increasing by 265 percent annually. Analysts who participated in a Bloomberg survey expected $ 20.41 billion. Nvidia, which earned $ 6.05 billion in revenue in the same period last year, shared a revenue forecast of $ 24 billion for the last quarter. Net income per share increased to $ 5.16 in this period. Data center revenues increased by 409 percent compared to the previous year. Nvidia CEP Jensen Huang stated that a critical point has been reached in generative artificial intelligence and made the assessment that "Demand from companies, sectors and countries is increasing worldwide." With the strong demand for artificial intelligence chips recently, Nvidia's market value has reached $1.83 trillion, making it the third most valuable company in the US after Amazon, surpassing Alphabet.
