While new public offerings were seen on the stock exchange in February, the number of investors also rose above 8 million again. The investor loss that accelerated in the stock exchange in December and January gave way to an increase in February with the acceleration of public offerings. According to the Central Registry Agency data, the number of investors on the stock exchange increased to 8 million 163 thousand 342 in February. The number of investors on the stock exchange rose to a record level of 8.6 million in October and then entered a decline. In the period when there were no public offerings, investor migration accelerated. The number of investors decreased to 7.3 million in January. When examined on the basis of portfolio slices, the increase in the number of investors with portfolios over 10 million TL, which represents the largest investor group, was also striking. The number of investors with portfolios of 10 million TL and above, which was 17 thousand 758 in January, rose to 19 thousand 969 in February. The number of investors with portfolios between 10 thousand and 250 thousand TL also rose above 3 million again in February.
