Minister Bilgin's statement on minimum wage

Stating that a new regulation will be made regarding the minimum wage at the end of the year, Minister of Labor and Social Security Bilgin said, "We will stand against capital's hostility towards labor." Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Bilgin, in his statement regarding the minimum wage, said, "We will make a new regulation taking this into consideration at the end of the year. We will not let our workers be oppressed. We will stand against capital's hostility towards labor." In his statement on July 2, 2022, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the minimum wage had been increased by 30 percent. Accordingly, the net minimum wage had become 5,500 TL.
