TL deposit withholding tax support extended

The duration of withholding tax support provided for deposits in Turkish Lira has been extended. The Presidential Decree regarding the extension of the duration of withholding tax support provided for deposits in Turkish Lira has been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the period that will end on December 31 has been extended until June 30, 2023 with the support decree. It was stated that the decision was made to put into effect the annexed decision regarding the withholding rates included in the temporary article 67 of the Income Tax Law No. 193 in accordance with the aforementioned article of Law No. 193. The decision was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
