Eurozone investor confidence recovers

Investor confidence in the Eurozone improved for the third month. However, it remained in negative territory due to difficult economic conditions. Sentix investor confidence in the Eurozone was minus 17.5 in January. The index was minus 21 in December. The median estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg was minus 18. The current conditions index was minus 19.3. This was the highest level since August 2022. The index was minus 20 the previous month. The expectations index was also minus 15.8, and was minus 22 the previous month. Sentix Director Patrick Hussy stated that economic expectations improved in January and made the assessment that "there was no change in current conditions."
