FBI finds 6 more classified documents in Biden's home

It was reported that six more classified documents were found at US President Joe Biden's home in Delaware. In a written statement made by Biden's personal lawyer Bob Bauer, it was noted that FBI agents searched Biden's home in Willmington on Friday. The statement stated that six classified documents from Biden's terms in the Senate and as vice president were found during the search, which lasted approximately 13 hours. While the new documents were seized for detailed examination by Justice Department officials, it was pointed out that Biden voluntarily allowed the search at his home. The statement also shared that President Biden and his wife Jill Biden were not home for the weekend during the search. Secret documents found in Biden's office and home In a statement made on January 9, Biden's advisor Richard Sauber said that some "small number of documents containing classified information" from his term as vice president on November 2, 2022, were found in Biden's personal office at the Penn Biden Center. Sauber, who stated that the documents were found in a “locked cabinet,” explained that Biden’s personal lawyers contacted the White House and the state’s national archives institutions as soon as the documents were found. Biden said he was “surprised” when he heard that the classified documents had come out of his office, and noted that he had no knowledge of their content. The Justice Department had appointed a special prosecutor to review the documents in question. Before Biden, the discovery of classified documents by FBI agents during a search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach on August 8, 2022 had long been debated in the country, and Biden criticized Trump by saying, “How can someone be so irresponsible?” With the emergence of classified documents in Biden’s office and home for a while, Republicans are now criticizing Biden.
