CEO change at Socar Turkey

Socar Turkey Refinery and Petrochemicals Business Unit Financial Affairs President Elchin Ibadov has been appointed as the acting CEO of Socar Turkey, Turkey’s largest foreign investor. Socar Turkey’s CEO Zaur Gahramanov has left his position, which he has held for approximately 7 years, and has been appointed to a new position at the Socar Head Office. Gahramanov, who has worked in various senior positions at Socar for 15 years in Azerbaijan, Switzerland and most recently in Turkey, will serve as Advisor to the Socar President. Socar Turkey Refinery and Petrochemicals Business Unit Financial Affairs President Elchin Ibadov has been appointed to act as the acting CEO, which was vacated by Zaur Gahramanov.
