Increased surveillance on smartphone imports

The amount of surveillance applied to the import of smartphones has been changed to 350 USD/unit. The amount of surveillance applied to the import of smartphones has been increased. The "Communiqué on Amendments to the Communiqué on the Implementation of Surveillance in Imports" of the Ministry of Trade was published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the unit customs value previously applied as 200 USD/unit for "Portable (Cellular) wireless telephone devices with a receiver" has been changed to 350 USD/unit for "Smart Phones".
