Centre-right alliance wins Italy's general election

The winner of yesterday's general election in Italy was the center-right coalition, as all polls indicate. According to the parliamentary seat distribution projection made by YouTrend, the Brothers of Italy party won the most seats in parliament. While the Brothers of Italy won 118 seats, the League Party won 64 and Forza Italia 47 seats. The Democratic Party won 57 seats in the election, +Europe won 10 and the other left-wing parties 11 seats. Accordingly, the center-right coalition won 238 seats, while the center-left coalition remained at 78. The coalition government partner, the 5-Star Movement, won 52 seats. In the Senate election, the center-right coalition won 112 seats, the center-left coalition won 40 seats and the 5-Star Movement won 30 seats. Giorgia Meloni, leader of the Brothers of Italy party, which won the most seats in both the parliament and the Senate, said in a post-election speech that Italian voters had given the right-wing alliance a clear mandate to form a new government. Meloni called for unity, noting that the country faced many problems.
