Intel ends production of crypto mining chips

Intel, one of the world's largest microchip manufacturers, announced that it has stopped production of its chip series used in crypto mining. In a statement made by Intel, it was stated that the Blockscale 1000 series has reached the end of its life due to the company's prioritization of its investments in IDM 2.0, but customer support in this context will continue. The company noted that it will continue to monitor market opportunities in the cryptocurrency field. According to the information on Intel's website, the company plans to take orders for the Blockscale series by October and complete shipments by April next year.
