Production statement from İsdemir

İskenderun Demir ve Çelik (İsdemir) announced that they have gradually and controlledly resumed production and reached pre-earthquake production levels. In the notification made by İskenderun Demir ve Çelik A.Ş. to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on April 24, 2023, it was noted that production has resumed in a controlled manner. The following statements were made in the statement made to KAP: “In our special situation statements dated 13.02.2023 and 17.02.2023, it was stated that due to the earthquake disaster, due to the situation assessment studies were carried out at our Company’s production facilities and that production was suspended. Production has gradually and controlledly resumed at İsdemir and pre-earthquake production levels have been reached. Insurance expertise and damage assessment studies are ongoing and as shared in our previous statements, our Company’s earthquake-related damages are covered by insurance coverage. If there are any developments on the subject, they will be shared with the public.”
