Approval from BRSA for the establishment of SLM Investment Bank

The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK)'s decision regarding the establishment permit for SLM Investment Bank Inc. was published in the Official Gazette. It was announced in the Official Gazette published on May 5, 2023 that BDDK granted the establishment permit for SLM Investment Bank. The BDDK's decision text noted that the investment bank's establishment capital was 1 Billion TL. According to the BDDK's board decision published in the Official Gazette, İsmail Lepiev, Cemalettin Kitapçı, Köksal Akdeniz, Fadime Öztürk and Canan Bulut were allowed to establish an investment bank in Turkey titled SLM Investment Bank Inc. The decision in question was taken in accordance with the Banking Law and the Regulation on Banks' Transactions Subject to Permission and Indirect Shareholding.
