Treasury cash balance posted a deficit of 159.1 billion TL in April

The Treasury cash balance had a deficit of 159 billion 62 million Turkish Lira in April. The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the cash realizations for April. Accordingly, last month the Treasury's cash revenues were 244 billion 450 million Turkish Lira and cash expenses were 403 billion 563 million Turkish Lira. Non-interest expenses were 376 billion 513 million Turkish Lira and interest payments were 27 billion 50 million Turkish Lira. The non-interest balance had a deficit of 132 billion 63 million Turkish Lira. In April, a deficit of 159 billion 62 million Turkish Lira occurred in the cash balance. Last month, the repayment of revolving-guaranteed debts was recorded as 3 billion 874 million Turkish Lira. While the increase due to exchange rate differences was 4 billion 177 million Turkish Lira, there was a decrease of 105 billion 924 million Turkish Lira in the cash/bank net account.
