The Central Bank of Uzbekistan (CBU) has reduced the interest rate by 100 basis points. According to the statement made by the CBU, the benchmark interest rate was reduced from 17.00 percent to 16.00 percent. Inflation in Uzbekistan is at 10.4 percent annually.
