The application period for debt restructuring has been extended by 1 month

The application period for the restructuring of debts to the state has been extended by 1 month. The decision was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. The period for the restructuring of public receivables introduced within the scope of Law No. 7440 regarding the restructuring of certain receivables and amendments to certain laws has been extended. According to the Presidential Decree on the extension of the period published in today's Official Gazette, the application, notification and declaration periods foreseen within the scope of the law have been extended until June 30, and the first installment payment periods have been extended until July 31. The restructuring application introduced with the said law covers all taxes, traffic, social security premiums, military service, population, bridge, highway illegal crossing penalties, judicial fines, administrative fines, student loan debts, and support premium debts. The last application date for restructuring had been determined as May 31.
