First post-election messages from the business world

As the counting of votes in the second round of the presidential election comes to an end, the first messages from the business world have also arrived. TİM Chairman Mustafa Gültepe Voter made his choice by going to the ballot box on May 28 with great democratic maturity after May 14. First of all, I wish the result to be beneficial for our country and our people. I would like to thank our ministers who worked with great devotion in the previous term to increase our exports. With the completion of the elections, the atmosphere of uncertainty has ended. It is now time to focus on our business with all our energy. We are working with the vision of taking Turkey among the top 10 countries in exports. However, I must emphasize that we are going through a difficult period. Despite the high increase in costs since the beginning of the year, the suppression of the exchange rate has damaged the competitiveness of our exporters. We have started to experience losses in some markets that we were able to enter with great effort. However, we cannot tolerate losing markets. On the contrary, we should be able to show the flag in new markets with steps that will increase our competitiveness. We are even more hopeful for the new period. We believe that we can quickly overcome the current problems with an economic management that knows production and export well and is well-versed in the dynamics of global trade. İTO President Şekib Avdagiç Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Şekib Avdagiç said, “2023 is a special year for us, we have a lot of work to do. The new Presidential Cabinet has great work to do for more production-export-employment. As the Turkish private sector, we will establish the days when new gains will be added to our achievements and development will accelerate like a snowball.” In a statement he made on his Twitter account, Avdagiç wished that the election results would be beneficial for our country and nation. Şekib Avdagiç noted the following in his statement: “I congratulate Mr. Erdoğan, who was re-elected President with the favor of the Turkish people.
