Minister Şimşek: We are determined to remove our country from the grey list

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, stating that in the report shared by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), Turkey was recorded as compliant with 39 of the 40 FATF standards, said, "This is a clear manifestation of the importance we attach to the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism. We are determined to remove our country from the gray list with the effectiveness we will ensure in practice." Minister Şimşek shared the post on his Twitter account, quoting the FATF tweet. Şimşek, stating that in the report announced by the FATF today, Turkey was recorded as compliant with 39 of the 40 FATF standards, made the following assessments: "This is a clear manifestation of the importance we attach to the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism. Our country is determined to continue and increase its work in this context. We are determined to remove our country from the gray list with the effectiveness we will ensure in practice."
