BTK bans Twitter ads

According to the statement made by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK), advertising on Twitter has been banned. BTK banned advertising on the social media platform Twitter on the grounds that Twitter did not fulfill its obligations. According to the decision, real and legal persons who are taxpayers resident in Turkey will not be able to place new advertisements on Twitter.
