Apple brand shoes put up for auction

Apple brand sneakers made by US technology giant Apple for its employees in the 1990s were put up for auction. New York-based Sotheby's Auction House offered a pair of sneakers to the public for $50,000. The auction house announced that the white leather shoes with Apple's old rainbow-colored logo had never been used, but some parts were yellowed. It was noted that the Apple brand shoes offered for sale were size 41. Apple's first-generation smartphone was sold for $63,000 in an online auction in February. In 2021, the original Apple computer, produced in 1976 by the company's founders Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, found a buyer for $400,000 at an auction in the US.
