Restructuring payments extended in earthquake zone

The payment period of restructuring installments has been extended in provinces where the state of force majeure continues in the earthquake region The payment periods of installments arising from restructuring in Adıyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş and Malatya, as well as in the İslahiye and Nurdağı districts of Gaziantep, where the state of force majeure continues in the earthquake region, have been extended. According to the Presidential decree published in today's Official Gazette, the period of installments that debtors to public administrations within the scope of restructuring in the listed places have to be paid; Since the state of force majeure continues until November 31, it has been decided to extend the payment periods of the first installment in the month following this date, and the payment periods of the subsequent installments in two-month periods following this month. In addition, within the scope of the decision, the period of installments that have to be paid by municipalities and their affiliated public legal entities in accordance with the relevant articles of Law No. 7256 has been extended to be paid in monthly installments starting from the month following November 31, when the state of force majeure ends.
