Minister Şimşek met with real sector representatives

Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek discussed the sector’s problems and the latest developments in the economy with representatives of the real sector. Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek met with representatives of the real sector, including the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Hafize Gaye Erkan, TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, and the President of the Banks Association of Turkey Alpaslan Çakar. During the meeting at the ministry, the problems of the real sector and the latest situation in the economy were evaluated. Hisarcıklıoğlu noted the following about the meeting on his social media account: "We came together with the Governor of the Central Bank Hafize Gaye Erkan and the economic bureaucracy under the leadership of our Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek. We consulted on new macroeconomic policies. We conveyed the demands and expectations of our real sector."
