Two earthquakes of magnitude 4.8 and 4.40 occurred in the Yeşilyurt district of Malatya at 16:39. The earthquake was determined to be at a depth of 6.35 kilometers. At 16:40, another earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred in the same location. This earthquake was recorded at a depth of 7 kilometers.
