The news, which states that the web version will be accessed via Threads.net, stated that this version will be improved to be more similar to the mobile application in the coming weeks. Meta launched Threads, its new social media platform rivaling X, formerly known as Twitter, on July 5. While Threads surpassed 100 million users in its first week of launch, growth and participation slowed in the following weeks. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated in early August that the company was working on a web version of Threads, emphasizing that they were trying to make the application more attractive.
