Automotive and light commercial vehicle market increased by 78.9 percent

According to the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD) data, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market grew by 78.9 percent in August, reaching 86,454 units. Automobile sales increased by 87.7 percent to 66,131 units, while the light commercial vehicle market increased by 55.1 percent to 20,323 units. In the first eight months of the year, the automotive market increased by 64.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 755,282 units. Automobile sales increased by 64.3 percent in the first eight months compared to the previous year, reaching 582,419 units, while the light commercial vehicle market increased by 66.4 percent to 172,863 units.
