Biden's statement on China

US President Biden has claimed that China's growing economic problems have reduced its capacity to occupy Taiwan. Speaking in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, after the G-20 summit in India, Biden said that they have no intention of isolating the Beijing administration. When asked why he has not met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping for 10 months, Biden replied, "He has his hands full." Taiwan's US Ambassador stated that the economic slowdown in China will inevitably have a negative impact on the region. Speaking to Bloomberg, Hsiao Bi-Khim pointed to the slowdown problems experienced by China and said, "There are alarming indicators that affect us as well."
