The process for the 2023 minimum wage has begun

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has launched a study as part of the work to determine the minimum wage that will be valid in 2023. The Ministry of Labor and Social Security is launching a study to determine the expectations of workers, employers, and the public before the Minimum Wage Determination Commission convenes. Within the scope of the work to determine the new minimum wage that will be valid in 2023, this study, which will also cover small, medium, and large-scale enterprises across Turkey, will determine and evaluate minimum wage expectations. The survey results compiled within the scope of the 2023 minimum wage determination studies are planned to be shared with the public at the Minimum Wage Determination Commission meeting. The Ministry had also conducted a minimum wage study conducted by an academic staff throughout Turkey during the minimum wage determination studies in 2022.
