Sabancı Holding acquired Oriana Solar LLC in the US

Sabancı Renewables Inc., whose entire capital is indirectly owned by Hacı Ömer Sabancı Holding AŞ, has acquired 100 percent of the shares of Oriana Solar LLC, which consists of investments in a 232-megawatt solar power plant and a 60-megawatt energy storage facility in the state of Texas, U.S. The following was included in the statement published on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP): "100 percent of the shares of Oriana Solar LLC, consisting of investments in a 232-megawatt solar power plant and a 60-megawatt energy storage facility in the state of Texas, U.S., by Sabancı Renewables Inc., whose entire capital is indirectly owned by our Company. The facility is aimed to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2025 upon completion of the investment process." The statement noted the following: "With the completion of this capacity investment, which is in addition to the 272-megawatt Cutlass II solar power plant investment that is currently ongoing and targeted to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2024, Sabancı Renewables Inc. will have reached a total renewable energy portfolio of 500 megawatts in the USA.
