The 2024 Central Government Budget Law Proposal was submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly

The 2024 Central Government Budget Law Proposal, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was submitted to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The 2024 Central Government Budget Law Proposal will be referred to the Planning and Budget Committee by the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The negotiations of the Budget Law and the 2022 Central Government Final Account Law proposals and the Court of Accounts reports in the committee are expected to last one month. The budget negotiations in the Planning and Budget Committee will begin with the presentation to be made by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz in the Committee on October 20. Following the budget presentation, a one-week break will be given for the preparations of the committee members. After the completion of the committee negotiations, the process will continue in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
