Global Ports signs contract for Canada’s Prince Rupert port

Global Ports announced that it has signed a concession agreement for the operation of the cruise operations of the Port of Prince Rupert in Canada for a period of 10 years. In a statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Global Yatım Holding A.Ş. announced that the company’s indirect subsidiary, Global Ports Holding Plc, has signed a concession agreement with the Prince Rupert Port Authority regarding the operation of the cruise operations of the Port of Prince Rupert in Canada for a period of 10 years with a 10-year extension option. In the statement made to KAP, it was noted that the Prince Rupert Cruise Port welcomed approximately 41 thousand passengers in the 2022 season and that the passenger volume is expected to approach 80 thousand in the 2023 cruise season.
