Karsan wins tender in Romania

Karsan has won the Bucharest Municipality’s electric bus tender worth 1.17 billion TL. Karsan has won the electric bus tender in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. According to the company’s statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was announced that the tender opened by the Bucharest Municipality of Romania for the purchase of 100 12-meter electric buses and charging units, provision of the necessary charging infrastructure, and garage management and maintenance has been won. The company stated that the contract will be signed as a result of the completion of the procedures and processes. The total tender price was announced as 293 million Romanian lei (excluding VAT). The TL equivalent of this amount was announced as 1.17 billion TL. It was stated that deliveries are expected to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2023.
