Treasury returns to dollar-denominated domestic borrowing

The Treasury and Finance Ministry issued $1.58 billion worth of government domestic debt instruments. The Treasury and Finance Ministry returned to the dollar-denominated government domestic debt instrument, which it had not issued for a while. The Treasury and Finance Ministry announced that it issued dollar-denominated DİBS with a 2-year maturity and 2.76 percent coupon payment every 6 months through the direct sales method. The statement from the ministry stated that $1.58 billion worth of government domestic debt instruments were issued. The market offered $3.03 billion for the issuance. The Treasury has a repayment of $3 billion worth of foreign exchange bonds issued two years ago on August 12.
