President Erdoğan's statement on combating inflation

President Erdoğan said, "I am stating this very clearly and directly after May 14th, we will teach the necessary lesson to those who take any wrong path, especially in food, through the legal regulations we will make." President Erdoğan made a statement at the Opening Ceremony of the Akyazı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Sports Complex in Sakarya. In his speech, Erdoğan said, "We continue to resolutely take steps that will permanently reduce inflation to single-digit figures," and said, "I am stating this very clearly and directly after May 14th, we will teach the necessary lesson to those who take any wrong path, especially in food, through the legal regulations we will make." Expressing that they will send the TCG Anadolu aircraft carrier to İzmir for the last 1 week or 10 days, Erdoğan said, "It would be beneficial for it to stay in İzmir for another 1 week or 10 days. We will also build an aircraft carrier twice that size, and thus our aircraft carriers will be found much differently in the blue seas." Not content with that, we are also exporting land vehicles to friendly and allied countries." Erdoğan, who stated that mass production will begin immediately after the tests are completed by the army, said, "Recently, we have also started the production of armor systems that we procured from abroad and were subject to embargoes with domestic and national capabilities. We have determined our goal as a fully independent defense industry."
