Legislative regulation of trade between Türkiye and the UAE

Regulations have been made regarding the determination of the origin of goods subject to trade within the framework of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. The Regulation on the Determination of the Preferential Origin of Goods in Trade within the Framework of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, prepared by the Ministry of Trade, was published in the Official Gazette to enter into force as of September 1. The Regulation regulates the principles and procedures regarding the definition of the concept of "originating goods" and the implementation of administrative cooperation methods regulated in the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Turkey and the UAE. In the implementation of the Regulation, goods obtained entirely in that country and goods produced in that country that contain inputs not obtained entirely in that country, provided that they have undergone sufficient workmanship or processing, will be considered as "originating goods".
