No changes were made to the September tariff for natural gas

Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) announced that as of September, there has been no change in the sales price of gas for electricity generation purposes, the tariff for industrial establishments and residential subscribers. According to the tariff table published on BOTAŞ’s website, the tariff for residential and industrial subscribers valid in September and the tariff for electricity generation purposes remained the same. Accordingly, the sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in September was announced as 4,080 liras for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas. The tariff for industrial subscribers was determined as 7,124 liras for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas for stage 1 and 9,478 liras for stage 2. In the tariff for electricity generation purposes, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas was announced as 10,000 liras. Price tariffs for natural gas are calculated monthly. "Based on the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI) prices, our country currently has the lowest natural gas prices among European countries after Ukraine," the institution announced on its website.
